Saturday was terrible for hunting but Daniel Sumerall and I managed to knock a few out that morning. Daniel, I'm glad you were able to make it. I really enjoy hunting with you and one day we are gonna hit it just right[ ] HotRod worked real good to grub these up. He made several more trees but we couldn't find those. I bet he was 1/2 a mile from us when he treed that black one but he held on and had the meat when we got there. I made an evening hunt with David Fayard and Jeffery Woods saturday. The wind was blowing 25-30 mph and the squirrels were not stirring at all. We had a couple cold trees and finally HotRod and Sassy went in and treed a small coon for us. Here's the dogs on a 4way conversation with him [ ]

That's probably him. He's out of Shiloh's Chipper and Bayou Lacy. Lacy is Chipper's aunt. Thanks for the compliments.

I really like it! I could squeeze 6 in it if I had to but 4 is pretty comfortable for the dogs

I'm not sure how I did it, loblolly, but I wound up with a cur pup. I'm gonna have to get some pics on here and show you. He's 7 months old and tight Frederick's Jake bred. I'm hopin' he's gonna make a good one.

I got him from Steve Dulaney, his Little Blue Ribbon dog and Jim's Mandy was the dam, the dam's out of Coldwater's Gold Pistol and Coldwater's Chelsea. The Ribbon dog is out Lindsey's Mr. T who's out of Jake.

Scribler: Mountain Curs
dixie: I know Steve real well. I haven't hunted with his Ribbon dog but I've heard good things about him. Steve is the registrar to the United Mountain Cur Association. A few of us got together almost 2 years ago in AR and formed it.
