i have a quick track that only tracks 10 dogs and i am thinking of getting a MT-8000 so i can help other people at my club track there dogs because they are on different frequencies and that one tracks all frequencies i was wondering if anyone has used this system and if its any good and if it gets good range.

I have had one for years , and it works great . as with any new tracking system you have to practice with it , Don't wait until you need it to learn how. 1) Set up a frequencies list of the collars in your club . i.e name and collar frequencies assign them a number that you can enter into this tracking unit . 2) Calibrate every collar that you are going to track . Back off 100 feet unpin 1 collar at a time and tweak in the best signal for that collar frequencies at a time. 3) Every year update the frequencies list and add in new numbers and recheck the old frequencies . You would be surprised at how the frequencies change with age of the crystals in the collars.
